Refund Policy
SheetJP sells two different paid services. Refunds follow the product you bought. This page is the source of truth — not homepage slogans.
Instant verification ($10)
If the instant lookup cannot sell a sheet (no strong match, or you never reach checkout), you are not charged $10.
If payment succeeded but we cannot retrieve the automatic report (for example a data-provider failure after a green match), we either complete delivery or refund the amount you paid for that instant report in full. That existing path is unchanged.
Once an instant report is delivered, it is generally not refundable. Contact us within 7 days if you believe the report is inaccurate or you were charged in error.
Specialist archive search ($75)
This product is a search, described on specialist search. It is offered only after an eligible instant miss on a complete Japanese frame number.
- Nothing found after the specialist finishes: we refund 95% of the amount actually charged. At the $75.00 list price that is $71.25 back and $3.75 kept for card fees and search time. The percentage is fixed, not discretionary.
- A record is sent — full sheet, sheet only, photos only, or another extract that identifies this chassis — that is a find. No refund.
- Wrong chassis entered by you: that is not a “not found” refund. We may re-run once on a corrected complete frame at our discretion; otherwise buy again.
- Change of mind after payment: no refund once the search is queued.
- We decline the search before work starts: full refund of the specialist fee.
Promo codes: 95% applies to the amount Stripe actually charged.
Promo codes (both products)
If a valid promo code reduces your total to zero, there is no charge to refund. Partial discounts follow the same rules as a full-price order for any amount actually paid.
How to request a refund
Email support@sheetjp.com with your order email and chassis number. We aim to respond within two business days. Specialist “nothing found” refunds are initiated by our team when the search closes, not only when you ask.
